Pharmacy Technician Pennock

Under the direction of a Pharmacist, provides technical assistance, processing and preparing medications and supplies. Works with multiple medication automation systems. Insures accurate and timely patient charging and crediting. Delivers medications and supplies to patient care areas. Mixes complex sterile products, including hyperalimentation and chemotherapy products, using aseptic technique.
This position works variable days/hours as needed to meet the needs of the department.
Basic Qualifications:
Education - High School Diploma or equivalent
Licenses - State of Michigan Pharmacy Technician - Temporary Licensure or State of Michigan Pharmacy Intern License required upon hire, State of Michigan Pharmacy Technician license required within 1 year
Pharmacy Technician Certification through the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or Exam for the Certification of Pharmacy Technicians (ExCPT) by the National Healthcareer Association (NHA) required within 1 Year
Preferred Qualifications:
Education - Associate's Degree or equivalent
Experience - Hospital pharmacy experience

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
