Nurse Practitioner - Pediatric/Neonatal - Pennock

SH Pennock is seeking a full-time Pediatric or Neonatal APP to augment existing Providers.
Responsible for rounding on newborns, attending deliveries, resuscitation of sick infants and stabilization until NICU arrives. Opportunities to educate our moms prenatally and postnatal. Ability to communicate with providers, nursing staff and patients. Managing patients and coordinating the services provided by multiple disciplines within and outside the health system.
Maintains a collaborative practice agreement with specific physician(s). Exercises independent judgment in the assessment, diagnosis and initiation of selected protocols/procedures. Provides educational support for patients/significant others, health team members and the community and coordinates QA/QI studies to measure outcomes of care.
Basic Qualifications:
Education - Nurse Practitioners who obtained their education and certification after 2000 must show evidence of completion of a master's, post-master's or doctorate from a Nurse Practitioner program that is accredited by the Commission on the Collegiate of Nursing Education or the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission
Experience - 3 years of experience typically gained through skills/knowledge/abilities in current, relevant clinical experience,Previous experience functioning in a collaborative role
Licenses - Registered Nurse (RN) \\All\\
Nurse Practitioner ? Licensed (NP) \\All\\
Basic Life Support (BLS) Note used for BLS,CPR & BCLS)\\All \\
Basic Life Support (BLS)\\Specific to SHMG\120 Days\
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)\\Specific to SHMG ACLS if required by specialty or stress test performed\120 Days\
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)\\All, except Neonatal Services, Peds Trauma and Hospice\\
Completion of advanced wound care course \All, except Neonatal Services\1 Year\
Certification in wound care management (as appropriate for patient population)\All, except Neonatal Services and Hospice\1 1/2 Yrs\
Completes credentialing and privileging process upon hire and undergoes reprivileging every 24 months or as determined by policy. \All\\
Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP)\\Neonatal Services\\

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience - Experience as a Nurse Practictioner
Licenses - Certification in hospice and palliative care\Hospice\\

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
