Position TitleFront Line Leader2.0 Reporting ResponsibilityReports to Director of Manufacturing3.0. Position SummarySupervises employees in a precision, metal working manufacturing environment. Plans and assigns work, implements policies and procedures and recommends improvements in production methods, equipment, operating procedures and working conditions. This position is responsible for front line coordination of the Company's efforts toward a safe working environment. Ensure all activities are within the confines of company policies, procedure, values, and labor agreements.4.0 Responsibility and Accountability4.1 Supervise all production operations such as machining, processing and assembly.
4.2 Plan, schedule, and coordinate departmental activities to fulfill sales orders, meet inventory requirements, and deliver manufactured products in a timely fashion.
4.3 Ensure effective employee relations. Provides employee coaching and development.
4.4 Handle basic discipline and recommends final step disciplinary actions.
4.5 Resolve employee issues through problem resolution.
4.6 Balance safety, quality, productivity, cost, and morale to achieve positive results in all areas. Work to continuously improve in all areas.
4.7 Manage departmental performance measures, including visual controls and provides regular progress reports to employees and management.
4.8 Directs weekly KPI meetings according to established standards.
4.9 Immediately report incidents and accident in work area. Provide basic first aid as needed. Assist in accident investigations.
4.10 Ensure area employees receive and complete required training in a timely manner.
4.11 Ensure time-keeping duties are completed on time and accurately.
4.12 Work to increase employee skills and capabilities through current company procedures, performance reviews and coaching.
4.13 Must be able to assist team in improving our systems of production control, standard operating procedure, safety, quality control, and performance management.
4.14 Participate in meetings, discussions and other company functions to ensure strong employee relations.
4.15 All other duties as assigned5.0 Training5.1 CPR/First Aid certification required.6.0 Education6.1 B.S. Degree in a related field, or 5 to 10 years of progressive manufacturing experience and responsibilities.
6.2 Must be able to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
6.3 Must be computer literate, particularly in shop floor control, production planning, and inventory control applications.
6.4 Strong skills with Word, Excel and other Windows software is required.
6.5 After hire, ongoing education/training sufficient to maintain current technology and methodology is required.7.0 Experience7.1 Must have strong leadership skills, with excellent oral and written communication skills. Strong team player.
7.2 Must be able to plan ahead, develop action plans, manage multiple tasks and priorities and easily adapt to changing situations.
7.3 Must fit in and work well - a demonstrated ability to communicate, lead people and get results through others.
7.4 Record of accomplishing assignments on time.
7.5 Participant in employee hiring, development, retention, performance review and discipline.
7.6 Strong application of performance to goals and standards.
7.7 Prior experience and proven results with lean systems and continuous improvement.
7.8 Strong attention to quality and detail.
7.9 Prior experience and proven results in problem analysis and resolution.
7.10 Understanding of Inventory management.
7.11 Prior experience in Union environment preferred.
7.12 Basic knowledge and understanding of rules, regulations, compliance methods, and technology as it pertains to safety and health.
7.13 High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations and documentation.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
