Manager - Quality

To act as the main point of contact in managing the manufacturing process quality requirements, including daily supervision of Quality Technicians, scheduling of inspection and testing, and coordination with production and support operations to meet customer expectations.
Manage and responsible for all compliance needs that ensure product and processes meet all third-part compliance regulations and test requirements.
RESPONSIBILITIESQUALITY MANAGER ROLE REQUIREMENTS Supervise MFG and Supplier Quality Team members responsible for supporting Viking quality needs.
Schedule inspection and testing requiring Quality Lab equipment and personnel based on customer needs.
Ensure direct reports follow all policies and procedures, including the communication of company information and policies to direct reports.
Measure, evaluate and work to improve the individual and team performance of direct reports using metrics and defined criteria.
Provide leadership in creating an environment that motivates and raises employee morale.
Perform the duties of the Director Quality in their absence as those duties directly affect customer service.
Ensure manufacturing conformance to quality standards and inspection requirements based on product and consumer requirements.
Provide input into Supply Chain performance results based on manufacturing output.
Lead the control and disposition activity of non-conforming material throughout the process.
Plan and manage gage calibration for all Viking manufacturing facilities.
Communicate product and process quality performance by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends.
Lead problem solving teams with employees.
Maintain professional and technical knowledge of best business practices and technology.
COMPLIANCE MANAGER ROLE REQUIREMENTS Implement systemic programs that support product conformity based on requirements provided by the R&D department.
REQUIREMENTS Minimum 4-year degree degree, preferably in an engineering discipline.
Minimum 5-10 years experience in a Quality Organization in a manufacturing environment.
